Problems with Alaska children's services

This is an article from our local Fairbanks Daily Newsminer (news paper) today 19 June 2012.

 We also filed a complaint (grievance) with OCS after they stole our grand children. It is to our knowledge all that happens is they investigate themselves and probably just file it into the round file cabinet. I would suppose they expect a certain amount of grievances. Since the outcome of taken children is not about whether it is done correctly but instead about the money gained, nothing happens. This will be forgotten in a few days and it will be business as usual. Nothing will change.

The local TV news also did a blurb on this as well. They had an interview with Christy Lawton, Director of Office of Children's Services. As soon as I get a copy of the video, I will post it and explain how we feel she lied through her teeth about family reunification. The only true thing she said was something about the state not being a very good parent of children.
